Update:The Tennessee Board of Court
Reporting will be seeking a replacement member for Chancellor
Russell Perkins, who has submitted his resignation due to his concern
that any possible suits filed by or against the Board
would likely end up in Davidson County Chancery Court. Most
suits against the State and, especially, administrative agencies must be filed
in Davidson County Chancery Court. It is expected that Governor Bredesen
will appoint a replacement by mid-December. |
