TENNESSEE REPORTING EDUCATOR RECEIVES NCRA CASE AWARD
A big KUDOS goes out to Laqueta A. Soule, CRI, CPE. Laqueta is an Assistant Professor of the Realtime Reporting Program at Chattanooga State Technical Community College, which consists of three concentrations: Judicial/Court Reporting, Broadcast Reporting, and CART Reporting.
TCRA is proud to say Laqueta is also an active member of our association and has been a strong advocate for increased federal funding for the court reporting program in recent years. At NCRA’s Annual Convention in Dallas, she received national recognition when she was presented with the NCRA CASE Award of Excellence. The CASE (Council on Approved Student Education) Award of Excellence to an Outstanding Educator is given in recognition of dedication to students and extraordinary contributions to reporter education. She received a symbolic crystal apple and is proudly displaying the apple on her desk at Chattanooga State. Laqueta is yet another example of the extraordinary and dedicated talent within the court reporting educational system and profession here in Tennessee!
