TCRA ONLINE SEMINARS

All of our online seminars are NCRA approved. Most states only require CE seminars be approved by NCRA. It is the court reporter's individual responsibility to verify acceptance by their state.

Note: NCRA’s reporting requirements have changed. You can review them here: NCRA CEU submission form.  It is the court reporter's responsibility to submit these CEUs to NCRA and to any state or association in order to receive credit.  NCRA will charge a submission fee for any seminar that is not live.

Please note that we allow you to view an online seminar without charge. However, Certificates of Completion are only issued after the test is completed and submitted and payment is received.

It is the court reporter's responsibility to ensure that he/she does not duplicate a seminar when completing an online seminar (choosing an online seminar that was already attended live).   Please refer to your Certificates of Completion for exact seminars completed as part of a live seminar if you have attended TCRA Conventions in 2022.

INSTRUCTIONS: Select an online seminar from the list and print or download the test for that seminar. View the seminar by clicking the link to that seminar and answer the test questions. When you have completed the test, you can upload your test(s) and pay for your seminar(s) here. Your test(s) will be graded, and if you have received a score of at least 70% you will be emailed Certificates of Completion within 48 hours.

POSTURE, PERFORMANCE, AND ERGONOMICS (2022) 0.15 CEUs

According to Dr. Evan Pridmore, here’s the problem: more people sit behind a desk now than ever before, on average six hours per day, and musculoskeletal disorders are the most prevalent, costly, and preventable workplace injuries in the U.S. Some say sitting is the new smoking, and by sitting for excessive periods of time you are literally taking years off your life.

During this workshop we will focus on proper ergonomics and why it’s so important to begin incorporating best practices now rather than later on in life. Additionally, we will look at what systems of the body are impacted by poor posture and how this impacts our moods and stress levels. Lastly, we will provide you with best practices and free resources that you can begin incorporating into your daily life that will enable you to live a healthier and happier life.
